Roman Engineered Irrigation

Built by nature. Designed to last. Gravity-fed flow from your home's supply, delivering life to landscapes, plants, and wildlife — no pumps, no power, just pressure and precision.

Roman Engineered Irrigation diagram showing head tank, gravity-fed aqueduct channel, slow release outlets, and wildlife pools
System overview — water leaves the house at stage I and ends in wildlife pools at stage VI, all on gravity.

How we build it, stage by stage

  1. I

    Supply from the house

We tap your existing water supply — no pump, no meter surprises. One valve controls the whole system.

  2. II

    Head tank

Silt and debris settle out here, so nothing reaches your plants but clean water at steady pressure.

  3. III

    Aqueduct channel

Hand-crafted stone channel contoured to your land. Sloped for smooth, steady flow with no erosion.

  4. IV

    Distribution outlets

PVC tees with adjustable flow and clay-sealed ports release water slowly, straight into the root zone.

  5. V

    Planting basins

Each plant sits in a shaped basin that holds water where the roots are instead of running off the surface.

  6. VI

    Wildlife water features

Rock-filled overflow pools give birds and desert wildlife a place to drink, fed by the same gravity line.

Aqueduct cross section

PVC pipe set in clay lining, sloped for flow. Smooth. Steady. No erosion.

Distribution outlet detail

PVC tee, adjustable flow, clay seal, root-zone irrigation.

Wildlife pool detail

Overflow feeds the next pool. Rock-filled for safe wildlife access.

Materials & tools

Schedule 40 PVC, elbows, tees and couplings, ball valves for control, stone and rock, sealing clay soil — built with purpose, maintained with pride.

We don't just move dirt. We move water. We build life.
